Crimes Against Persons

The Crimes Against Persons Unit is an investigative unit within the Criminal Investigations Division. This unit specializes in crimes committed against individuals. The following offenses are investigated by Detectives assigned to this unit:

• Aggravated Assault
• Assault
• Sexual Assault
• Harassment
• Kidnapping
• Homicide
• Suicide
• Unattended Death Investigations
• Many other crimes committed against an individual

The Crimes Against Persons Unit is comprised of 1 sergeant and 8 Detectives. These Detectives also work closely with other agencies that are involved with their cases.
